As a digital nomad exploring the hidden gems of the Balkans, my recent stay at Osogovo Rooms provided a convenient and comfortable base for my two-night visit to Sofia. Situated just a short 5-minute walk from Opalchenska metro station, the homestay's location was perfect for easy access to the city center and popular points of interest nearby. The friendly staff warmly welcomed us, making our late check-in seamless, and the detailed directions provided made finding our room a breeze.The room itself, though simple, offered great value for the money with its comfortable bed and clean amenities, including the much-appreciated air conditioning. Despite encountering an issue with the internet in my initial room, the owner promptly resolved the matter by allowing me to switch to another room without any inconvenience.In terms of facilities, Osogovo Rooms met our basic needs for a short stay, with free Wi-Fi and TV contributing to a pleasant overall experience. The private parking option was convenient for those traveling by car, though at an additional cost. However, the proximity to public transportation and key landmarks made up for this minor drawback. While it may not offer luxurious amenities, its affordability, convenient location, and accommodating staff make it a practical choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.
